I wish I had all of the stamps and dies used in the Altenew Academy lessons so that I could exactly replicate what is being taught. However, by not having them I am forced to develop a creative attitude and am finding a creative bent that I have not previously developed.
So, having said that, here is my version of lesson two :
I used the Altenew Vintage Roses stamp and die sets for the flowersPocket full of Sunshine
Golden Sunset
Red Cosmos and
Green Fields Altenew mini cube inks for the colored flowers and leaves and
Warm Gray mini cubes for the shadow layer
Altenew Moroccan Lattice Cover Die
and Altenew Fancy Thanks Die
Although I make a lot of cards I don't consider myself artistic or even very creative. Most of what I make is inspired by the work of others. However, when deciding how to embellish this card, I was inspired to create a shadow layer of the main embellishment and placed it behind the cover die to enhance the three dimensional effect. I am so pleased with the result.
