I have accomplished more during this quarantine than I can remember at any other time in my life. For the first week or so I did almost nothing but sleep. And then the adrenaline kicked in. I cleaned and organized four rooms in my house. The room I struggle with the most is my former living room which is now my craft room. During the cleaning marathon, I got all of the large items arranged. While I was very pleased with my accomplishment I found I was still struggling to find things.
I took a break from the cleaning and organizing to make cards for #BEARLYART for children in foster care and for health care workers. I was so proud of my ability to make three dozen cards in just a couple of days. (then I saw where someone posted they had made hundreds of cards in the same amount of time) Darn those overachievers!

So, while I was cleaning up after myself I realized I have way too many paper scraps. I have a wonderful system for organizing them. I use Totaly Tiffany's system of paper organization. But, still, there is just way too much.
I was watching a youtube the other day (can't remember who) and saw something that inspired me to start a card layering box. So for the past two days, I have been going through all of my unfiled scraps and cutting them into 4.25 x 5.5-inch layers and stored them in an empty card box. While I probably don't have enough of the same colors to use them for my card class I will not make a personal card without first checking the box for appropriate layering pieces.
I'd love to hear from you about how you have been coping during the quarantine.
